PMI-PBA Eligibility Requirements

With High School Diploma or Global Equivalent Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum BA Experience – 7,500 hours within 8 consecutive years
  • Project Experience* – 2,000 hours on project teams
  • BA Education – 35 hours

With Bachelor’s Degree or Global Equivalent

  • Minimum BA Experience – 4,500 hours within 8 consecutive years
  • Project Experience* – 2,000 hours on project teams
  • BA Education – 35 hours

Exam Details

Certification

  • The certification exam has 200 multiple-choice questions and four hours of time to complete it.

Recertification

  • Earn 60 PDUs every 3 years to maintain the credential
