About PMP Certification
PMP TRAINING BOSTON – PMP certification is extremely important in today’s workplace as all initiatives are being managed as projects and programs. More than 700 000 Professionals in project management are now PMP certified (and additional professionals are CAPM certified). PMP & CAPM are certification in the field of project management for experts from various industries. After receiving the CAPM or the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute PMI, you become a member of the largest and most prestigious community of certified professionals in the field of project management.
The Project Management Professional (PMP)® is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers.
You can find PMPs leading projects in nearly every country and, unlike other certifications that focus on a particular geography or domain, the PMP® is truly global. As a PMP, you can work in virtually any industry, with any methodology and in any location.
The PMP also increases your earning potential. PMP certification holders earn 20 percent more than their non-certified peers according toPMI’s Earning Power: Project Management Salary Survey, Ninth Edition.
Employers benefit as well. When more than one-third of their project managers are PMP-certified, organizations complete more of their projects on time, on budget and meeting original goals. (Pulse of the Profession® study, PMI, 2015.)
The PMP signifies that you speak and understand the global language of project management and connects you to a community of professionals, organizations and experts worldwide. Become a PMP and become a project hero.

About PMP Exam
To obtain the PMP certification, first of all, you must conform to the requirements for education and experience. Secondly, you must pass the exam. It is an objective assessment of your knowledge in the field of project management. This computer testing is used worldwide for the degree examination.
Examination for PMP certification assesses the knowledge, skills, tools and techniques that are applied in project management practice. Examination requirements were developed in 1997. The examination is a test with 200 questions, each of which has 4 possible answers from which you must choose the correct one.
25 of the 200 questions are considered test questions that PMI is trying and, as such, will not count in determining your score. However, you will not be told which are the 25 test questions. You will be scored on the other 175 questions.
To successfully pass the PMP certification in Boston, the examinee must correctly answer 106 questions from the 175 that apply. Thus, the pass mark is around 61%. For 200 questions, you will be given 4 hours. The test is administered in computer format. The examination questions are tested annually for compliance with the examination requirements and to ensure the availability of reference materials on each issue.
